Class Description: Creative academic enrichment that blends academics with art, music, and movement for a well-rounded learning experience.

Organizer: Gaithersburg Presbyterian Church, Mujer Fuerza y Coraje, and Epworth’s Ana A. Brito Foundation.

Age Group / Grade Level: PK – 5th Grade (divided into groups)

Start Date: October 7, 2025

Class Days & Times: Tuesday and Wednesday 5:00 TO 7:00 PM

Location: Epworth UMC, 9008 Rosemont Dr, Gaithersburg, MD

Status: Open enrollment

Maximum Enrollment / Class Size: 45 students total

  • PK (Ages 3–5 incl. Kindergarten): 13 students

  • Grades 1–2: 16 students

  • Grades 3–5: 16 students

​Grouping: Children are separated into three groups by age/grade: PK (3–5 yrs incl. Kindergarten), Grades 1–2, and Grades 3–5.

What Your Child Will Learn: Hands-on projects in reading, math, science, and social studies; creative expression through music, art, and movement.

Registration Deadline: Rolling, until groups are full

Cost / Fees: Free (Donations to EAABF FUEL program encouraged)

DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills) is a set of assessments used by schools to measure your child’s reading and literacy development. By giving consent, you allow the school to share your child’s DIBELS results with our program staff. This information helps us better support your child’s learning needs.
